Who said house hunting was fun?

I have heard a few times people saying that house hunting is fun. I can categorically say it is not fun. I have viewed 4 houses and made an offer on one (sadly offer declined). I have found my head consumed with with house talk, prices, mortgages, APR's and deposits. I swear I spend all my free time on house selling sites too! I need a life as I am starting to look like this…

I need a break!

And I haven't even bought anywhere yet!

Please tell me it gets better right?

I'm proud of you for taking this on! When we were looking for our present house, we had quite a time! We must have looked at over 50 houses. It's a tough decision...you want to find the perfect house for YOU. Hang in there and take your time. Your house is out there!

So happy that you are looking at a house to buy. Looking for houses is a lot of work. I looked at buying a house before I met Trav. Then I met Trav, and glad I didn't buy, because I didn't know I would be moving to Phoenix, where he already bought a house. We looked together for the first time in buying a house when we moved to TN. It was a lot. We looked at so many houses, and we were on a certain budget, and we had to move into a home and have it ready before we actually moved to TN. We ended up doing paperwork and whatnot in Hawaii. It is a lot, but you will find your perfect house. :) It may take a while to find, but it's better not to rush it. We will be in this process again in another year and a half. I'm actually excited about it again. :) I hope you are able to enjoy it more and hopefully it won't be as stressful.

Oh I think it is one of the most stressful things ever!!! I've moved a lot so feel like I'm something of an expert : ) But...it's worth it! Hang in there, hope you find just the right thing.

I think that's really awesome you're shopping for a house. Don't let it stress you though, I think it's suppose to be fun, because the actual buying process IS NOT FUN! Hang in there lady! :)

Ugh, house hunting can be so stressful! It is worth it once you find the right house. Hang in there!

House hunting is exhausting and mind-boggling. The “fun” in it starts when you’ve found your beloved house, made an offer, and closed the deal. It’s highly recommended to talk to an experienced realtor if you want to lighten the burden of this hard task. Good luck on your house hunt, Rebecca! :)
