Last Monday was Simon's 27th birthday. We had the BEST day and the pictures we got were great. Below are a few....okay a lot.
I bought Simon, as his main present, tickets to see the musical Ghost. I hid them in the car with a load of Ghost balloons!
We then set off to London...but I had another surprise! I also got him tickets for 'Up at the o2' where you climb the building that was known as the Millennium Dome!
All geared up and ready to go!
It was quite a steep climb but the views at the top made it so worthwhile! This is the financial district in this photo with Canary Wharf.
Up at the o2!
We then went to an early dinner at Inamo in Piccadilly. It serves Asian food and it was so yummy! The reason why I chose this restaurant is because it's interactive. There's a projector above the table and with it you can order your food/drinks, play games with each other and see the chefs at work in the kitchen via the Chef Cam. It was really nifty!
Birthday boy and his Chicken Satay!
Another thing? The restaurant was made of bamboo. There was bamboo everywhere. We have never been to a place so swanky!
Afterwards we went up the road to the theatre. It really was a great day!
The musical was brilliant! The way they did the Ghost scenes was so clever and it was really emotional. At the end when Unchained Melody was playing, Mollie and Sam were dancing and there was I blubbering away silently to myself. Such a shame it closes next month to go on tour. I really recommend seeing it!
I loved organising your birthday day out Simon!!!! You were worth every penny and sticky tape! I hope you're 27th year is a great one!
