This amazing lady will always be, for as long as I live, my favourite person. I don't think I could EVER say, write, sing or portray just how much she has done for my siblings and I. She is the most unselfish person I know and she does not realise how incredible she is.
I value her. I love her. I respect her and I look up to her more than she could ever know. This woman never left my side night and day when I was critically ill in hospital at the age of 1. She taught me how to ride a bike without stabilisers when I was 6. She sat me down and told me all about the birds and the bees when I was 10. She took the day off work on my first day of secondary school at the age of 12 to take me in because I was so nervous. She held my hair back for me in the bathroom so many nights when I was physically sick with worry over my maths exams at the age of 16. She told me several times "you can do it" when I honestly felt like giving up with nursing school at 19. She never stopped taking pictures of me at graduation when I was 22. And at the age of 23 she is teaching me how to cook and the best ways/tips to save for a house. She always says "once your a Mum you will never stop being a mum to your kids whatever their age" but she honestly just becomes a better Mum to me. Don't get me wrong we have had our moments - but like she says she will never stop being my Mum and I am so lucky to say and have that in my life!
That list does not even scrape the barrel with how much my mum gives and has given up for us. I am so lucky and blessed to have a mum like her.
Happy Mothers Day, Mum. xxxxx
