Time Flies.

How is it May already?! I cannot believe that next month we will be half way through 2011. I find it quite scary. However, May time signifies the beginning of the summer months for me. The UK has had some glorious weather and I cannot wait for the upcoming months.

Simply because:

  • At the end of this month I am going to see Footloose. I love the songs but I have never seen the movie. It's almost shameful!
  • On June 25th I am going to Spain for ten days to see Oli. I really cannot wait to see him again but this time it is different because I am taking this cavalry with me.

We're going for ten days and I just hope we all have a good time. It sure will be 8 times the fun.

  • Then when I come back I will graduating be with these beautiful graduates on the 13th July!!!

Over here the in UK nursing students graduate a year after they qualify. Simply because all over the world a typical nursing course is 4 years. In England it is 3 years with a one year preceptor-ship. Once that preceptor-ship ends we officially graduate even though I have been qualified a year. I am really looking forward to it and seeing my Mum's face.
  • Also in July I am booking NEW YORK!!! Enough said. I am beyond excited for this. My sisters and I are planning to go in October hopefully.
I have not got much more planned compared to other years. Since I have started working I find I have to pay for more things. Anyone else notice that hehe? I am also currently saving my Monkey butt off. I want to see the world and at the moment I am saving for a future trip to Australia! A family friend of ours recently went on a 3 week cruise of the Australian west coast. They walked the Sydney Harbour Bridge, swam in the barrier reef, sunbathed in the Whit-Sundays. I am sold! It has been a dream to visit this country and I'm determined to make this expensive but worthwhile trip before I consider getting my own place. I find this all pretty exciting. Just throw in a few birthdays, BBQ's and hopefully some nice sunshine. I am pretty pumped for Summer 2011!

This was just an update post for you all =]

Congratulations on graduating!
I'm kind of the same, cos I finish this course is August, and can start applying for teaching jobs straight away, but my graduation ceremony isn't until the middle of December!
