Alf

I met one of my favourite actors EVER last night at Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Ray Meagher plays Alf in Aussie soap Home and Away. He came over from Australia to play for 6 months and I got to see him just in time.

He smelt lovely if you want to know, quite floral actually. The show was AMAZING. I wanted to get up and dance so many times. I recommend you see it! But the highlight was meeting Ray. Super crazy fan, me? I think so!

For any Home and Away fans I managed to get in a little interview. He finishes playing Mike the Mechanic tonight in the show. He then heads to Paris next week for a couple of days before flying home to sunny Sydney. He is unsure of when he is going back to the bay but he said he is definitely going back. In fact his exact words were "he wouldn't miss going back to the bay for the world."

So happy.

That's so exciting!! I'm always really jealous when people get to meet someone famous. Even more so when that person turns out to be nice and awesome.

Alf!!!! Allllllfffff!!!!!!!!!!

Ray Meagher is a legend. And I get the impression he's the one who keeps any egos at bay on the Home & Away set.

Sounds like me with Susan Luche [who plays Erica Kane on "All My Children"]. I'm not sure if that's just one from the states or if you have it in England, but I LOVE it.

When I smell her, I'll let you know what she's like. =]

I have heard of this show but I am guessing he is a great actor if you love him. I have never met anyone famous but could imagine my excitement if I ever did. Go you!
