Penmanship

I have a really stupid confession to make. Well, it is not really a confession just an observation I have made lately.

I can never have just one style of handwriting.

It is just something I have noticed over the years. My parents, best friends, the nurses I work with and even my doctor has always had the same style of writing but I haven't.

I always feel the need to change it, to be different. As observed from examples in my project 365.

I went through a phase earlier this year where my writing was really narrow and quite symmetrical.

Then in April I went through a period where it was less smudged together. The spacing was more separated and I guess more readable.

Last month, and to this day, my handwriting is more flowy and less conjoined. It has a more 'wavy' effect.

I have no idea why I change my handwriting quite so often but it is always a couple of times every year. I just find it odd that I feel I have to change mine routinely, and others accept that their handwriting as apart of them whether they like it or not. Yeah...I am weird haha :)

Anyone the same?

Me too me too! From day to day, my writing is different. I sign my checks different than I sign credit card slips and I write differently at work than I do otherwise. You're not alone!

Haha, that's awesome! Mine's always the same old chicken scratch/engineer-y handwriting. It's tiny and I write light, much to the dismay of my older professors. :)

My handwriting changes throughout the day. I've discovered that it change is very dependent on the pen I'm using, and the level of boredom I have gotten to!

Mine changes a lot, too. And the pen I write with definitely makes a big difference. I like changing it. I'll look at others' handwriting and see something I like and try it out for awhile and if I like it I keep the change. My signature changes too.

Wow, that's interesting! Mine unintentionally changes, so it's cool that you're intentional about yours changing!

LOL! We had a discussion about this at work the othere day, remembering how our handwriting became "more grown-up"! With my mum being so ill, I have noticed some HORRENDOUS Dr's writing. I wouldn't be able to read some of those scripts! I like your April one the best!

Mine can change a few times during the day. For me it depends on my mood, the pen, the paper and the surface. I too find it really annoying.

I think mine is worse...my writing changes mid-stream. I'll be writing a note or letter and look over it later and see that my writing changed right in the middle of it. And I change up my signature ever couple of years because I get tired of the way it looks. Lame, I know.
